Port Of Stockton Video: Antioch Dunes Project

Founded in 1980, The Antioch Dunes Project is designed to restore and protect the habitat of 3 endangered species: The Contra Costa Wallflower, The Antioch Dunes Evening Primrose, and Lange’s Metalmark Butterfly. The Port provides sand from their annual dredging maintenance and uses it to help restore the dunes. This is one of many innovative solutions the Port of Stockton embraces as a regional leader and responsible neighbor.

    Boggs Tract Community Farm is an urban farm adjacent to the Port of Stockton. The Port owns the land and leases it to a nonprofit. Working with the farm provides the Port with a great opportunity to contribute to residences adjacent to the port. The farm's goal is to help people live more sustainable lives.
